What this site is

finent.app introduces finent, an app to take control of your money, cut your spending and save, which hasn’t launched yet. Here you can learn about the project, join the waitlist for free and invite other people with your personal link.

  • Joining is free and doesn’t commit you to anything: it isn’t a purchase or a contract, and it doesn’t create an account.
  • Inviting people is also free and voluntary. If you share your link, you take part in the referral programme, which has its own terms.
  • The app isn’t available yet. The screens we show come from a prototype, and the features, plans, Founding Member perks and launch date may change. The app will have its own terms, which you’ll see before you use it.
  • finent doesn’t provide any financial service yet. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or tax advice.

Terms of use

By using the site you agree to do so in good faith and within the law. In particular:

  • Sign up with your own real details. Don’t sign other people up: if someone wants to join from your phone, they should type their own name and email and tick the box themselves.
  • Don’t send automated, fake or bulk sign-ups, and don’t try to get around the site’s security or disrupt how it works.
  • Don’t cheat the referral programme: no fake sign-ups or sign-ups you make yourself with other emails, no inflating your link’s visits, and no sending it as spam. The rules are in the programme terms.

We may delete sign-ups that break these rules and exclude anyone who breaks them from the referral programme.

Intellectual property

The finent name and logo, the texts, design, illustrations, app screenshots and the code of this site belong to the owner or are used with permission. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission. Sharing a link to the site, on the other hand, is always fine (and appreciated).

The typefaces and third-party libraries used by the site belong to their authors and are used under their licences.

Liability

  • We take care to keep the information accurate, but it may contain mistakes or go out of date, especially while the app is in development.
  • We try to keep the site running, but we can’t guarantee there will be no outages or errors. If there are, we’ll fix them as soon as we can.
  • The site links to third-party sites, such as WhatsApp, Telegram or X for sharing, or the Spanish Data Protection Agency. We don’t control their content. If you find a link that leads to something unlawful, tell us and we’ll remove it.
  • None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

This site and these texts are governed by Spanish law. If a problem comes up, write to us first: it can usually be sorted out by talking. If not, it will be decided by the courts that have jurisdiction under the law; if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence.

In short

  • We only ask for your name and email: to save your spot, tell you about the launch and give you your link to invite people.
  • We count how many people open the site and how many sign up through your link, to give you your extra XP and, if you’re among those who bring the most people, your perks. We ask nothing of people who just visit, and keep nothing that identifies them.
  • The list is kept in a Google spreadsheet. We don’t sell it or use it for advertising.
  • You can ask us to delete you whenever you like.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the owner of finent.app, the same as in the legal notice. For anything about your data, write to contacto@finent.app. Their identifying details (name, tax ID and address) are provided to anyone who requests them at that same email, for example to exercise a right or file a complaint.

What data we process

When you join the waitlist, the site sends:

  • Your name, as you type it (up to 60 characters).
  • Your email.
  • The language you’re viewing the site in: Spanish or English.
  • Who invited you, if you came from an invitation link: the link carries that person’s personal code (?ref=). Older links carry their sign-up number instead.
  • How you got here: the channel the link was shared through (WhatsApp, Telegram, X, a copied link or your phone’s share menu), the website you came from (just its domain, for example instagram.com) or “direct”.

Your name and email are required: without them we can’t add you to the list. The site adds the rest by itself.

When it’s saved, the list adds the date and time you signed up, your number on the list (based on the order in which people join), whether that number is among the first 1,000, who will be Founding Members, and your personal invitation code. If someone invited you, your row also records who it was: their number, name and email.

If someone else signed you up, your name and email came from them, not from you. We’ll tell you so in the first email we send you, along with how to be removed. If you don’t want to be on the list, reply to that email or write to us and we’ll delete you.

And this is what we don’t collect:

  • We don’t ask for your phone number, address, bank details or anything about your finances.
  • The system that stores the list doesn’t record your IP address.
  • The helper that suggests how to finish your email runs inside your browser: nothing is sent while you type.
  • The form has a hidden field to stop bots. People can’t see it, and if it gets filled in, the sign-up is rejected.

Also, as with any website, when you visit it your browser connects to the server that hosts it, which receives your IP address and basic browser details. Everything the site loads, including the typefaces and animations, is served from finent.app. See “Who else receives data”.

The referral programme

Everyone on the list has a personal code and link to invite other people (for example, finent.app/?ref=K7M2QX). The code is random: it doesn’t contain your name or email. Older links carry your sign-up number instead. The programme rules are in its terms; here we explain what data it uses.

If someone uses your link or you tap a share button, alongside your name and email we record:

  • Your invitation code.
  • Visits: how many people open the site through your link.
  • Sign-ups: how many people join the list through your link.
  • Times you share: each time you tap a share button on the site, with the channel (WhatsApp, Telegram, X, copy link or the share menu) and the time.
  • What follows from that data: when you first shared, your latest activity, whether you’ve earned the extra XP, your place among participants and, if lots of sign-ups arrive through your link in a short time, a flag so that a person can review them.

Each visit, sign-up and share is also kept in an activity log with the date, the type, your code, your name, your email and the channel. We record it even if you didn’t share the link yourself (for example, if someone opens an older link with your number), so that none of your invitations get lost. If you don’t want to take part, tell us and we’ll stop counting anything through your link. We don’t tell you who signed up through your link.

If you open the site from an invitation link, the site sends the list only the link’s code, the channel and the language you’re viewing the site in, once per visit: if you reload the page, it isn’t counted again. We don’t send your name or email, your IP isn’t stored in the spreadsheet and we store nothing in your browser for this: the code travels in the link itself. The visit is recorded in the log of the person who invited you. If you don’t want it to count, open finent.app without the ?ref= part of the address.

If you sign up from an invitation link, your row records who invited you (their number, name and email) and that person’s log records your number and name, so we can check the sign-up is valid. We don’t tell the person who invited you that you’ve joined. If your email was already on the list, it doesn’t count as a sign-up for anyone.

What we use it for

  • To email you when finent opens and about anything to do with your place on the list, such as whether you’re a Founding Member; and, if you take part in the referral programme, about anything to do with it: your XP, what the perks are and whether you get them.
  • To run the list: give you a number based on when you joined, avoid duplicates (if you sign up again with the same email, you keep your number and your link) and know who the first 1,000 are.
  • To run the referral programme: give you your code and link, count visits, sign-ups and times you share, give you the extra XP and the exclusive perks, rank participants by valid sign-ups and detect cheating, such as fake sign-ups or inflated visits. To check that a sign-up is real, we may write to that email: if it bounces, it doesn’t count.
  • To see how finent gets shared: through which channel people arrive and in which language, as totals.

We won’t send you third-party advertising, we don’t sell your data and we won’t use it for anything other than what we explain here.

Legal basis

  • Waitlist and its emails: your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by ticking the box on the form before sending it; you can’t join without ticking it. You can withdraw it at any time without giving a reason. Anything we did with your data before that remains valid.
  • Referral programme: our legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in offering and running the programme, crediting each visit and sign-up to the right link (including who invited whom) and preventing cheating. We’ve weighed it against your interests: we only use data we already have or that your link generates, we don’t tell anyone who signed up through their link and we don’t use it for advertising. You can object at any time by writing to us: we’ll stop counting anything through your link and you’ll no longer take part. If you’d like to see how we weighed it up, ask us at contacto@finent.app.
  • Giving you the XP and perks you’ve earned: performing what the programme terms promise (article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Seeing how finent gets shared, as totals by channel and language: our legitimate interest in knowing what works to spread the word about finent (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Technical visit data, such as server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working, loading properly and protected against abuse (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Minimum age

You must be 14 or older to join: that’s the age from which Spanish law lets you give this consent yourself (article 7 of the LOPDGDD). If you’re under 14, you can’t join or take part in the referral programme. If we find out that someone under 14 has joined, we’ll delete their data and their sign-up won’t count for anyone.

How long we keep it

  • The waitlist, until the app opens and the period to create your account and receive what you’ve earned (6 months) has ended: that way we can tell you about the launch and settle your place, including your Founding Member spot if you get one.
  • Referral programme data (your code, visits, sign-ups, times you share, the activity log and who invited whom), until we’ve delivered the XP and perks.
  • We’ll delete the list and the programme data one month after that period ends at the latest: by 31 July 2027, with the app expected to open on 1 January 2027. If the opening is delayed, these dates move by the same amount; if finent doesn’t launch in the end, we’ll delete them as soon as we decide that.
  • If you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete you, we remove you from the list straight away, together with your code and everything the referral programme holds about you: your figures, your entries in the activity log and your name and email in the rows of the people you invited.
  • Only where the law requires it, we might keep a blocked copy, unused, for as long as needed to deal with possible claims.

If you create an account in the app once we open, that data will be covered by the app’s privacy policy, which you’ll see before you sign up.

Who else receives data

We don’t sell your data or give it to anyone for advertising. It only goes to the two providers we use to run the site, under their own data protection terms, and to the authorities if a law requires it.

  • GoogleGoogle Sheets and Apps Script · the list and referrals

    script.google.com script.googleusercontent.com

Stores the list and the referral programme data in a spreadsheet. It receives what the site sends when you sign up, when you open an invitation link and when you tap a share button and, because your browser connects directly to Google at those moments, also your IP and browser details.

  • NetlifyWebsite hosting

    finent.app

Serves the site, including the typefaces and animation libraries, which are hosted on finent.app. Like any server, it logs technical details of each visit (IP, browser, page requested and time) to work and for security.

What about WhatsApp, Telegram or X? Only if you tap one of their share buttons does that app or site open with a ready-made message, which you decide whether to send, and from then on its own privacy policy applies. Your phone’s share menu and “Copy link” work inside your device. The site doesn’t load anything from WhatsApp, Telegram, X or other social networks.

Transfers outside Europe

These providers, Google and Netlify, are US companies or use servers outside the European Economic Area. When your data leaves the EEA, it does so with the safeguards the GDPR requires: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which Google has signed up to, or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: to correct it, for example a typo in your email.
  • Erasure: to delete it.
  • Objection: to stop using it for a specific purpose.
  • Restriction: to keep it without using it while we look into your request.
  • Portability: to receive it in a standard file format.
  • Withdrawing consent: we remove you from the list.

How: write to contacto@finent.app, ideally from the email you signed up with, and tell us what you’d like. It’s free and we’ll reply within one month at most. If you write from a different email, we may ask you to show that the one on the list is yours, so that nobody can request your data in your name.

If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es. If you write to us first, we’ll try to put it right.

Automated decisions

We don’t make decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. Two orderings are automatic:

  • The list: your number depends on when you joined, and the first 1,000 numbers are marked as Founding Members.
  • The referral programme: the spreadsheet ranks participants by the number of valid sign-ups through their link (ties are broken by visits and then by sign-up number), works out what share of visits turn into sign-ups and flags for review links that get lots of sign-ups in a short time. Because that ranking is based on what happens with your link, the law may treat it as profiling. It’s used to hand out the exclusive perks, but it isn’t a decision with legal effects or one that significantly affects you. Before a sign-up is discounted or anyone is excluded, a person reviews it.

How we protect your data

  • The site and everything it sends are encrypted (HTTPS).
  • The list is kept in a private Google account and only the person who manages it can access it.
  • The system that stores the list checks what it receives: it rejects invalid emails, trims overly long text, doesn’t duplicate emails and stores as plain text anything the spreadsheet could mistake for a formula.
  • A trap field and a check on the time between the page opening and the form being sent help stop sign-ups from bots. That time is only used for the check: it isn’t stored.
  • Invitation codes are random and the system limits how many visits and shares each link can count in a short time, to make it harder to inflate the numbers. Even so, we check the figures before handing out the perks.

No system is foolproof. If a security problem put your data at risk, we would report it to the AEPD and, where the law requires it, to you as well.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important, we’ll update the date at the top and, if it affects you, email you before it applies.

This site uses no cookies. It does use your browser’s local storage (localStorage), a similar technology, to remember two things. Here they are, all of them.

No cookies, no analytics, no ads. finent uses no analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), no advertising pixels, no social media buttons that follow you around, and no first- or third-party cookies. For the referral programme we only count visits that arrive through an invitation link, sign-ups through that link and taps on the share buttons, without storing anything in your browser.

What your browser stores

  • finent-langLanguage preference
    Purpose
To remember the language you choose.
    Stores
    “es” or “en”.
    When
When you tap ES or EN in the header, on the home page or on this page. If you don’t choose, the site uses your device’s language without storing anything.
    How long
    Until you delete it.
  • finent-waitlistYour sign-up
    Purpose
If you come back after signing up, to show your confirmation instead of the form, and your personal link to invite people. Also to send your code when you tap a share button (for your extra XP) and so that opening your own link doesn’t count as a visit.
    Stores
Your own sign-up, only in this browser: your name, email, number on the list and personal invitation code, plus two internal flags (whether you were already signed up and whether it was a test).
    When
    When you sign up successfully.
    How long
Until you tap “Sign up someone else” or clear the site’s data. Your code isn’t lost: if you sign up again with the same email, you get your number and your link back.

Both keys stay on your device. They only leave it in two cases that you trigger: the language travels with the form when you sign up, and your invitation code goes inside the link you share and is sent to the list when you tap a share button, to count that you’ve shared it (see the privacy policy). The animated intro on the home page stores nothing: we don’t remember whether you’ve seen it. And if your browser blocks this storage, the site still works; it just won’t remember your language or your sign-up.

Invitation links: nothing stored

When you open the site from an invitation link (finent.app/?ref=…), nothing is stored in your browser: no cookies and no local storage. The code travels in the link itself. The site tells the list just once that someone has opened that link (only the code, the channel and the language) and changes ?ref= to ?via= in the address so that, if you reload, it isn’t counted twice. If you sign up from that page, the invitation is credited thanks to the address; if you close the page and come back by typing finent.app, the site no longer knows who invited you. So that opening your own link doesn’t count as a visit, the site compares it, inside your browser, with the code stored in finent-waitlist.

Why we don’t ask for permission

The law (article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI) requires your consent before information is stored on or read from your device, except where it’s strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. Remembering the language you pick and your sign-up falls under that exemption, as the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s guide on the use of cookies also sets out: your sign-up is used to show your confirmation and your personal link and, within the referral programme you’ve joined, to send your code when you tap a share button and so that your own link doesn’t count as a visit. And invitation links store nothing on your device. That’s why this site shows no cookie banner.

Third parties

Everything the site loads (pages, images, typefaces and animation libraries) is served from finent.app, hosted on Netlify. The only connection to another site is to Google Apps Script (script.google.com, which replies from script.googleusercontent.com), and only when you send the form, open an invitation link or tap a share button. Those connections are made without cookies and store none in your browser. What Google does receive, like any server, is your IP address and basic browser details.

How to delete this data

En este navegador, ahora mismoIn this browser, right now

  • finent-lang
  • finent-waitlist

  • On the home page: if you’ve signed up, the “Sign up someone else” button deletes finent-waitlist (you stay on the list; it’s only removed from this browser).
  • Chrome or Edge: click the icon to the left of the address › Cookies and site data › Manage on-device site data, and delete finent.app.
  • Safari on Mac: Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data, find finent.app and remove it.
  • Safari on iPhone: Settings › Safari › Advanced › Website Data, and delete finent.app. On iOS 18 and later, Safari is under Settings › Apps.
  • Firefox: click the padlock in the address bar › Clear cookies and site data.

Menu names may vary slightly between versions. Clearing your browsing history or data also removes them, and in a private window they disappear when you close it.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or other tools that need your permission, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent with a notice before switching them on.

Si tienes cualquier duda, escríbenos a contacto@finent.app.

These are the terms of finent’s referral programme: who can take part, what you get and what the rules are. It’s run by the owner of finent.app (see the legal notice). Taking part is voluntary and free, and by sharing your link you accept these terms.

In short

  • Share your personal link before the app opens (expected date: 1 January 2027) and you’ll start the app with extra XP.
  • The more people join with your link, the better your perks: for example, early access to the app, discounts or other exclusive perks.
  • No cheating and no spam: only share it with people you know.

Who can take part

  • Anyone on the finent waitlist. You must be 14 or older to join, as explained in the privacy policy.
  • When you join you get a personal link with your invitation code, for example finent.app/?ref=K7M2QX. You’ll see it in the confirmation and, from the same browser, in the site’s “Invite” button.
  • You don’t have to buy or pay for anything. If you don’t share your link, you don’t have to do anything. If you don’t want to take part or have anything counted through your link, write to us and we’ll stop.

How it works

  • Share your link with the site’s buttons (WhatsApp, Telegram, X, copy link or your phone’s share menu) or however you like.
  • We count visits (people who open the site through your link) and sign-ups (people who also join the list through your link) separately. We also record when and through which channel you tap the share buttons.
  • A sign-up counts for you if the person joins from the page they opened with your link. If they reach the site another way, for example by typing finent.app, we can’t tell they came from you.
  • For privacy reasons, we don’t tell you who signed up through your link. If you’d like to know how many valid sign-ups you have and where you rank, write to contacto@finent.app from the email you signed up with.

Extra XP for sharing

  • You start the app with extra XP (in-app experience points) if you share your link before the programme closes. All we need is a record that you’ve shared it: that you tapped a share button on the site, or that someone opened the site or signed up through your link.
  • XP are the points in the finent app. They’re added when the app opens, to the finent account you create with the same email you used to join the list. If you use a different email, write to contacto@finent.app from the one on the list and we’ll sort it out.
  • To receive them, create your account within 6 months of the app opening: by 30 June 2027, if it opens on 1 January 2027.
  • It’s given once per person, however many times you share.
  • XP have no monetary value: they can’t be exchanged for money or transferred to someone else. What they’re for inside the app will be explained in the app’s terms.

Exclusive perks and priority

  • The people who get the most valid sign-ups through their link will get exclusive perks and priority: the higher you rank, the better the perks.
  • They may be, for example, early access to the app before it opens to everyone, discounts on paid plans or other exclusive perks inside the app.
  • Before launch we’ll publish on this page, and email to participants, what the perks are, what priority means, how many people get them and whether a minimum number of valid sign-ups is needed. Once announced, we won’t reduce them or change them for the worse.
  • The ranking is decided by the number of valid sign-ups. In a tie, whoever has more valid visits through their link goes first and, if it’s still tied, whoever joined the list earlier (the lower number).
  • The perks are activated on the finent account created with the same email, within the same period as the XP.
  • It isn’t a prize draw: nothing depends on chance. The perks can’t be exchanged for money or passed on to someone else.

What counts as a valid sign-up

  • A real person signs up themselves, with their own email, which exists and works. Anything you sign up on someone else’s behalf doesn’t count. We may check the email by writing to it: if it bounces, it doesn’t count.
  • It’s the first time that email joins: if it was already on the list, it doesn’t count. Variants of the same mailbox (for example, ana+1@gmail.com or a.na@gmail.com for ana@gmail.com) count as the same email.
  • The person is 14 or older.
  • It isn’t you: signing yourself up with other emails doesn’t count.
  • It isn’t automated, bulk or fake (for example, bots or made-up or disposable emails).
  • It’s still on the list: if that person asks us to delete them, their sign-up stops counting.

Cheating and exclusion

  • We may review sign-ups and visits, and not count those that aren’t valid. Links that get lots of sign-ups in a short time are flagged so that a person can review them.
  • If someone cheats or abuses the programme, including by spamming, we may exclude them, remove their programme XP and perks and delete the fake sign-ups.
  • If you think we’ve got it wrong, write to contacto@finent.app and we’ll look into it.

Share without spamming

  • Only share your link with people you know or in places where it’s allowed.
  • Don’t post it where it isn’t allowed (for example, in groups, forums or comments with rules against advertising), and don’t send it in bulk or to people who haven’t asked for it.
  • Don’t pretend to be finent or promise anything that isn’t in these terms.
  • finent never sends messages on your behalf: the share buttons only open the app you choose with a message you can edit and decide whether to send.

Duration

The programme starts on 13 October 2026, when we published these terms, and ends when the app opens. The expected date is 1 January 2027, but it isn’t final: if it changes, we’ll say so on this page and the programme will stay open until the new date. Anything that happens after the close counts neither for XP nor for the perks ranking.

Sign-ups that already came through your link before 13 October 2026 also count. We’ll write to everyone who was already on the list before that date to tell them about these terms before using those sign-ups for the programme; if you don’t want to take part, just tell us.

If the app is delayed, the XP and perks will be given when it opens. If it never launches, there will be no XP or perks, because they only exist inside the app.

Changes and end of the programme

We may change these terms or end the programme early if there’s a valid reason, for example abuse or a change to the launch. We’ll announce it on this page and by email to participants at least 15 days in advance, unless it has to be stopped sooner because of serious abuse or a security problem; in that case, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. Changes won’t affect valid sign-ups or XP you’ve already earned, or make perks already announced worse for anyone who already qualifies. If the programme ends early, the ranking will use the valid sign-ups up to that day.

Your data

To run the programme we use your code, how many visits and sign-ups come through your link, when and through which channel you share, and who invited each person. We explain it all in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, like the rest of the site: see “Governing law” in the legal notice. Nothing in them limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you have any questions, write to contacto@finent.app.
